David Allan Coe REBEL MEETS REBEL – Pantera Dimebag Darrell Rare CD Metal
In the late 1990s, Coe met Dimebag Darrell in Fort Worth, Texas. Despite their age difference, the two immediately bonded over their shared «outlaw» status in their respective genres. The Members: The project featured David Allan Coe on vocals alongside the entirety of Pantera’s rhythm section—Dimebag Darrell (guitar), Vinnie Paul (drums), and Rex Brown (bass). The Sound: The album—also titled Rebel Meets Rebel—was a genre-defying hybrid of blistering metal riffs and classic honky-tonk lyricism. Coe provided the lyrics and vocals, while Vinnie and Dimebag handled the musical arrangements
